Travertine Stone Wall Lamp
Cut from yellow travertine, each of these wall lamps carries a pattern that no other piece repeats — the pitting, the banding and the warm ochre veining are the stone's own. A frosted glass sphere sits against the block and softens the output into an even, low glow, so the fixture reads as quiet sculpture whether or not it is switched on. That pairing of raw mineral and diffused light is the heart of Japanese minimalism: little ornament, close attention to material.
At 12 by 10 by 15 cm it is small enough for a narrow hallway or the wall beside a bed, and restrained enough to sit in a dining room without competing with the table. Mounted in pairs it frames a headboard; used singly it marks a corridor or an entryway. The G9 bulb is included, and the warm 2700–3500K output keeps the stone's colour honest rather than washing it grey.
The lamp is hard-wired and runs on AC 85–260V, so plan for an electrician unless you are confident working with mains wiring. Natural stone varies in tone and texture from piece to piece — that variation is the point rather than a defect — and each lamp is finished by hand.
